There are exciting changes happening at Rural Directions at the moment; Erin Turner is departing to multiply, and we have engaged Gemma Dickie to fill her position while she is on maternity leave. Gemma has taken on the Recruitment & HR Administrator position and comes to us with a Degree in Human Resource Management and Management from Victoria University.
We have been working hard with a specialist web design and recruitment development business in Auckland on a platform making our system one of the leading candidate application tools in the country. This new platform allows easy tablet and smart phone access and simplifies the candidate job search and application experience significantly. We are developing a smarter Social Media presence and reaching out to even more of the candidate market than ever. Rural Directions will be managed as an active website and will continue to evolve with the market, with our single focus being on candidate experience.
Rural Directions Administration continues to grow its presence in the market with the adoption of new systems and technology. The business is about creating efficiencies for clients and providing accurate and timely reporting allowing business owners to make critical decisions. Kelly is joined by Di, Lee & Marise in delivering services to their rural clients. They have a particular focus on utilising the tools of Cash Manager, Xero, iPayroll and Figured.
Notably this year we celebrated 10 years in business! We have developed a huge network in the Primary Sector across all facets. We are continuing to evolve with the industry and push into new areas of expertise. In particular there has been great prevalence for HR consulting in recent months including remuneration recommendation, job design/analysis and legal compliance to name a few. The presence of Human Resource Management in the Primary Sector is evolving and is such an important component when managing staff; we are assertive that our HR services will be of significance to our clients.
If you are an employer looking to grow or somebody with a passion for the primary sector considering new opportunities get in touch with me or my team for a confidential discussion
